Kaori Okamoto joined the Stanford Athletic Training staff in November 2014 as an Athletic Training Fellow after working at Portland State University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
A native of Tokyo, Japan, Kaori completed her undergraduate work at Waseda University, where she was initially exposed to the Stanford Sports Medicine program while working with the football team. Kaori was drawn back to Stanford primarily due to the high standard of care provided, commitment to continuing education, and great personality of each staff member.
At Stanford, Kaori’s primary clinical responsibility is with the Sand Volleyball and Women’s Lacrosse programs.
